Dear Speaker Pelosi and Leader Schumer,

I am writing to request an immediate investigation into the failures of the Biden Administration during the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Over the past few days, the American people were horrified by the images coming out of Kabul. After 20 years and billions of dollars, the Afghan army and government fell virtually overnight.

Worse, the Biden Administration seemed to have no plan to evacuate the Afghans who helped our nation over the last two decades. They seemed to have no plan to evacuate our own citizens. And they allowed billions of dollars of U.S. military equipment to be seized by Taliban terrorists.

The American people deserve to know how this happened, and what failures occurred over the past 7 months of Joe Biden’s Administration.

This cannot wait. Please launch an investigation right away.
